Issues of community interest.

Engaging neighbors in open communication and problem solving.

The College Area Community Council (CACC) is all about what’s going on in the Ventura College Area.

Run by local volunteers, the non-partisan CACC provides an open forum so community voices can be heard and important information can be disseminated.

CACC plays an important role in local democracy by representing the community to our government. We actively engage with residents through our monthly meetings on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7pm via this zoom link

From Arroyo Verde Park on the north to the Pacific View mall on the west, the College area community boasts two regional hospitals, fourteen educational institutions, two large regional parks and a multitude of smaller neighborhood parks along with the largest retail shopping center in Ventura. CACC represents citizens in Council District 3, neighborhoods north of Hwy. 126 between Dunning/Lemon Grove/Agnus on the west and Hill Road on the east.

Learn.

Interested in our local parks, updates on police and fire activity, what’s going on at the college? For information like this and other items of community interest like recycling, drought tolerant planting, and emergency evacuation planning, CACC is the place to learn about what’s going on locally.
